Beach trip
Wow! What a special place to have a relaxing week. I can only imagine the fun we are going to have. Already Annie, Bill, Martha, Adeline, Esther and myself went for a walk on the beach. Adeline was grinning from ear to ear. She was jumping waves with all, running and stopping every 2 feet to throw some sand, touch the sand something with the sand. Esther was in a sling and resting soundly. Thanks to Martha and Bill for setting this up for us...a wonderful time I can tell.

Esther has arrived!!!
Esther is beautiful....just as she should be with the name, Esther!! :) When I first met her, Bryan was holding her....she was awake and sucking on her thumb!!! (Just like her dad did) Suzanne was up and walking around the room....and this was just an hour after Esther arrived!! I got the call from Bryan at 7:55am, to come pick up Addy....when he told me Suzanne's contractions were 5 min apart...I suggested he call Annie....I got to their home at 8:30am...Annie helped me get Addy's stuff together and we left for 'water day' at school...I figured I had plenty of time to get to hospital before Esther's arrival , so I headed back to Newberry to finish dressing...:)
Then....Bryan called....he sounded so cool and calm....I was thinking that Suzanne must not have been as far along in labor as we had thought.....BUT....then Bryan said....'she weighs 8lb 9oz....!!!! I couldn't believe that Esther was already here!!

Family Reunion
Bill had a good audience for his magic tricks!
Adeline had a blast "ashes, ashes" with her cousins. She also had fun down in the spring with Evan and Elizabeth. The cold water sure did feel good on a hot hot day!

Another fun river weekend
Well! We had the whole family out at the river this weekend. Let me just say there was a great addition that allowed us to enjoy a movie Friday and Saturday evening. Adeline loved having Aunt Annie run and chase her around the yard. She collected sticks for Papa's fire early in the morning with Mommy. We had a little rain in the morning, but then after Adeline's nap we were off to the shallows where she after only one week is so brave walking person to person. We all of course ate well, had great boat and river fun.

July 4th 2008
Oh what fun! We got to hang out with Martha and Bill. So much fun on the river. Adeline is a real "river rat" as her bib declares. Essie is well on her way as I am 9 months pregnant. Adeline loves "more boat ride please". She wasn't so sure when bryan jumped out to do some wake boarding... which he can switch feet while in motion now - go bryan! She warmed up to it when he started saying happy and horray. 2 key words for her that all is well. Bryan practically wake boarded over an alligator. She can chow down on an ear of corn. Bill & Martha fed us extremely well. Adeline and Martha made home-made chocolate ice-cream. We saw some awesome fireworks from across the river and will definietly have to be there again next year. It was practially like the UF display. We then sat around the fire and roasted marshmallows at one point. What a great family!!! We did miss Annie and Chad - Annie had to work. And it wouldn't be a real adventure if I didn't have to add that the boat broke down and we were towed home from the sand bar (that Addy loved). Lunch was due so you know it didn't take us long to find a way home. Happy 4th - Thank you God for a wonderful country and for giving us people to serve so courageously and boldly (those in the past and currently).

Watermelon Parade and Festival
We had tons of fun today!!!
After a delicious breakfast at Country Kitchen. Adeline saw her first parade I do believe. This included seeing Papa/Commisioner on a firetruck. Enjoying endless watermelon and a fun ride on a trolly/train. She also saw "Nay - Nay's" (horses for those lacking some Adeline ease).
